Review: Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub!

Hello everyone (:

I picked up the Lush Bubblegim Lip Scrub a few months back, and at first i had mixed feelings about the product but now its a definate fave :) It edible so you can lick it of your lips after which sounds gross i know but it taste's GREAT! Plus its pink! It smells and taste's just like Snow Fairy! ( a popular christmas product Lush make)
The issue i had when i first bought the product was that it left my lips feeling really dry, but after a few uses i worked out that if you apply a good lip balm, like Vaseline, straight after you get perfectly moisurised and exfoliated lips :D
I'd recommend using the scrub about twice a week, but you could do it more/less if you want. It's £4.50 on the Lush webite:

Did i mention that Lush are totally against testing animals?!

Review: Boots Skin Clear Oil-Free Mattifying Lotion! :)

Hello everyone :D

I have been using the Boots Skin Clear Oil-Free Mattifying Lotion for a few years now, and LOVE it!! I normally use it in the morning as a primer because it give you a really nice, smooth surface to apply foundation. If you don't use foundation then it will still be fine for you :)
If you have dry skin (like me) or just need abit more moisture now that winter is here then i would suggest applying your regular moisturiser before, let that sit on the skin for a while and then apply the mattifiying lotion over the top.
A quick tip; allow the lotion to sink into the skin for about 5-10 minutes, otherwise the lotion may start the peel of slightly when you start rubbing it or applying foundation!
It sells for £2.99 on the boots website, but the Skin Clear range regulary has special deals like buy 1 get 1 free or 3 for 2!
